1. Case background
In modern agriculture, silage is an important source of livestock feed, and its production efficiency and quality are directly related to the development of animal husbandry. In order to improve the harvesting efficiency and quality of silage, a domestic customer with a CLAAS jaguar 950 forage harvester purchased the Xinwanda XWD-460PLUS rotary corn header. The customer transported the CLAAS 950 forage harvester to Xinwanda Company, and we successfully implemented a case of the rotary corn header mounted on the Claas jaguar 950 forage harvester. This mounting not only improved the operating efficiency, but also optimized the harvesting effect of silage.
2. Equipment introduction
1. Claas jaguar 950 forage harvester: As a high-performance forage harvester, Claas jaguar 950 has won wide recognition in the market with its powerful power, stable performance and precise control. It has a reasonable design and compact structure, can adapt to various complex farmland environments, and ensure efficient and high-quality silage operations.
2. XWD-460PLUS rotary corn header: The 6.0m XWD-460PLUS rotary corn header used in this case has the characteristics of wide width, high efficiency and durable cutter disc. It is sharp and has high cutting accuracy, which can ensure the neat harvesting of silage crops. At the same time, the corn header is reasonably designed, which is convenient for hanging with the Claas 950 forage harvester and can be quickly installed and disassembled.
III. Hanging process
1. Preparation stage: First, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the Claas 950 forage harvester and the XWD-460PLUS corn header to ensure that all parts are intact and have stable performance. Then, according to the equipment manual and the actual situation on site, prepare the necessary hanging tools and accessories.
2. Hanging operation: After confirming that the equipment and tools are ready, start the hanging operation. First, place the silage cutter in front of the Claas 950 forage harvester to ensure that the positional relationship between the two is correct. Then, follow the steps in the equipment manual to connect the various hanging points of the corn header and the Claas 950 forage harvester one by one. During the hanging process, pay attention to keep the movement smooth to avoid damage to the equipment or cause safety hazards.
3. Debugging and inspection: After the hanging is completed, debug and inspect the XWD-460PLUS rotary corn header. First, start the Claas 950 forage harvester and observe whether the connection between the header and the Claas 950 forage harvester is firm and reliable. Then, conduct a trial harvesting operation to check whether the performance indicators such as the cutting effect and collection efficiency of the header meet the requirements. During the debugging process, if any problems or abnormal phenomena are found, the machine should be stopped in time for inspection and troubleshooting.
IV. Case Effect
After actual application verification, the forage harvester corn header in this case was successfully mounted on the Claas 950 forage harvester, and efficient and high-quality silage operations were achieved. The specific effects are as follows:
1. Improved operating efficiency: After the XWD-460PLUS corn header is mounted, it cooperates well with the CLAAS 950 forage harvester, and the operating speed is significantly improved. More silage crops can be harvested in the same time, which effectively improves the operating efficiency.
2. Optimized harvesting effect: The XWD-460PLUS corn header has high cutting accuracy and high collection efficiency, which can ensure the neat harvesting and full collection of silage crops. At the same time, the corn header is reasonably designed to reduce the occurrence of crop loss and waste.
3. Enhanced operation convenience: The mounting process is simple and fast, and the operator only needs to follow the steps in the instruction manual to complete the mounting. At the same time, the connection between the rotary corn header and the CLAAS 950 forage harvester is firm and reliable, reducing the potential safety hazards during operation.
In summary, the Xinwanda XWD-460PLUS forage harvester header attached to the Claas 950 forage harvester in this case is a successful application practice. It not only improves the efficiency and quality of silage harvesting operations, but also reduces operating costs and safety risks.
